Scratch-Resistant wallcovering
The vinyl face is tested for scratch resistance with no visible scratch, and the woven backing resists tearing and gouging.
Scratch resistance comes from two layers working together: a solid vinyl wear surface and a woven polyester-cotton backing that spreads an impact instead of tearing. That is why fabric-backed vinyl is used in hotel corridors, hospitals and schools, where paper wallpaper and paint fail first.
